In 2008, the hospital opened the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, a new $10 million medical office building. This 58,000 square foot building houses Franklin Health pediatrics, women's care, orthopaedics, general surgery, and urology medical practices, as well as the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center. The new building will allow physicians to better accommodate the growing number of patients looking for care at these practices.
HRCHC is a system of 11 medical practices serving the rural communities of central and western Maine by providing primary health care and outreach services to person of all ages. Four of these eleven medical practices are located in the greater Franklin County region.
Located in Wilton, Maine, the Umbagog Dialysis Center opened its doors on January 31, 2003. The new center, operated by Fresenius Medical Care and Androscoggin Clinical Associates can serve as many as twelve patients at the same time.
